New Delhi: In a strongly-worded statement, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has expressed deep anguish and condemnation over the recent brutal attack by Israel on a Gaza hospital, which resulted in the tragic deaths of approximately one thousand people, many of them women and children.

The President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Syed Sadatullah Husaini, described the incident as a massacre and a crime against humanity.

The targeted hospital, Al-Ahli Hospital in Central Gaza, was reportedly under an evacuation order from the Israeli military. The attack has raised serious concerns about the violation of international war laws and basic human values, with Jamaat-e-Islami Hind urging the international community to take immediate action.

In the statement to the media, President Husaini emphasized that Israeli occupying forces have been consistently targeting schools and hospitals, further violating established norms of warfare.

The organization called out powerful countries and international bodies for their silence, stating that they cannot absolve themselves from the responsibility for the heinous war crimes committed.

"We demand the implementation of an immediate ceasefire in the region and swift condemnation of the deliberate bombing of civilian areas of Gaza," declared President Husaini.

He further insisted that Israeli actions should not go unpunished, urging the UN and the international community to actively pursue the political and military leadership of Israel for trial in the International Court of Justice.

The President framed the situation as a critical moment for humanity, stating, "If we fail the Palestinians and do not stop the current carnage, history may never forgive us."

The call for justice and accountability resonates at a time when the conflict in the region continues to escalate, drawing global attention to the plight of the innocent men, women, and children of Palestine.
