Sharjah: The 5th edition of Gulf Madhyamam Come on Kerala -2023, the Middle East's largest Indian trade, entertainment and cultural fair, will be held on May 19th, 20th and 21st at the Sharjah Expo Centre under the patronage of HH Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

An investment summit will also be held at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce on May 18 ahead of the organized fair.

‘The preparations for the fair organized with the participation of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority have been completed’ announced VK Hamza Abbas, Chief Editor and Managing Director of Gulf Madhyamam in the press conference.

Come on Kerala, which aims to strengthen India's commercial relations with the Middle East, will be inaugurated by HH Shaikh Fahim bin Sultan bin Khalid Al Qasimi, the Executive Chairman of the Department of Government Relations, Sharjah on May 19 at 4 p.m.

Lulu Group Chairman M.A. Yusufali, Aster DM Healthcare Chairman and Managing Director Dr Azad Moopen will be the chief guest for the program. Representatives of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce, Commerce and Tourism Development Authority and Dubai Indian Consulate will also be a part of it.

Come On Kerala, which aims to strengthen India's commercial relations with the Middle East, is coming up with more different programs this time. Compared to the previous years, this time various programs will be held during the daytime hours of the fair to entertain visitors.

The celebrations will last from 10 am to 10 pm and feature a huge line-up of stars led by Malayali’s favourite Actor Kunchacko Boban and Actress Bhavana. Machans in Sharjah, featuring Raj Kalesh and Mathukkutty, will take the viewers by storm on three days during the daytime hours.

Motivational speaker Maaney Paul and daughter, actress and anchor Pearle Maaney will come with their popular happiness talk on the 'Paul and Pearle' show.

Drawing competitions for young children, 'The Art of Grooming' imparts beauty lessons, 'Sing n Win' with a song prize, and Magic Workshop by Magician Rajamurthy will impart knowledge along with pleasure to the visitors.

Food lovers will be treated to a feast of taste with the Dessert Master Live Cooking Competition, Tasty Indian Stalls, a confluence of Indian flavours and Chef Pillai's Cooking Workshop.

Entrepreneurs from India and UAE will line up with stalls in the fields of health, tourism, education, shopping and interior design. Come on Kerala will also be the venue for the launch of several consumer products. The property show will be held for those who want to buy, sell and invest in real estate.

Not only during the day but also the three evenings will be rich in amazing cultural events. The highlight of the first day is Star Beats featuring viral superstars who have reached the hearts of fans through social media and stage shows.

Music of Mindfulness on the second day, Saturday night, will be a celebration of Indian womanhood with actress Bhavana being the chief guest. The Indo-Arab Women Excellence Award will be given as a tribute to women who have left their mark in various fields.

The last day of 'Harmonious Kerala', which spreads the message of humanity and unity, will be held on Sunday. Kunchacko Boban will be the chief guest at 'Harmonious Kerala', which has become a well-known brand among music lovers in various Gulf countries.

A ceremony to announce the support of the expatriate community for the UAE’s Year of Sustainability will also be held at the venue. Leaders of prominent organisations in the UAE will convey the message of sustainability.

Members of the Indian Parliament K. Muralidharan MP and John Brittas will be present at the function.

Prominent entrepreneurs will share success stories in the Investment Summit which is to be held at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce on May 18 ahead of Come on Kerala.

The investor summit, which is being held in the backdrop of the one-year anniversary of the signing of the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement, will discuss investment opportunities in both countries. The investor meeting will be useful for those who want to invest in new ventures and those who are aiming for business growth.
