NEET 2021 aspirants queue up in Kochi (PTI)

The National Testing Agency on Monday evening declared the results of the NEET 2021 exam. Mrinal Kutteri from Hyderabad topped the exam with 100 per cent marks. He is seconded by Tanmay Gupta from Delhi. Karthika Nair, in the third position, is also first among female candidates.

The results are available on the NTA's official website. The result declaration comes days after the Supreme Court's order on October 28, allowing the release of NEET results. The new session of 2021-22 might also be delayed due to this delay in result declaration.

NEET qualification makes students eligible for admission to multiple courses including MBBS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS in various reputed medical colleges across the country, including the 13 AIIMS across the country, and Jawaharlal PG Institute of Medical Education and Research, Puducherry.

NEET exams, which were conducted on September 12, had 16 lakh students from across the country appearing for it.
