NEET 2021: Registration ends tomorrow for the mop-up round

Delhi: In the wake of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) closing the online registration for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET PG 2021) counselling, there will be a mop-up round ending on March 7.

Candidates can apply at mcc.nic.in for the mop-up round, which was originally scheduled to begin on March 2 but began on March 3.

Registration and fee payments for mop-up rounds of NEET counselling do not close until March 7 of this year.

Candidates can fill and lock their choices up to 11:55 pm tomorrow.

Reporting deadlines for allotted institutions are March 13 to 18. The results of the seat allotment will be published on March 12.

As soon as the mop-up round counselling process is completed, there will be a stray vacancy round, however. Fresh registrations will not be accepted for it, nor will there be an option for filling choices.

"Choices made by candidates in Mop Up Round will be considered for allotting seats for Stray Vacancy Round. Allotment of seats will be by running of software. Candidates who are currently without a seat will only be able to take part in the Online Stray Vacancy Round." said MCC statement.
