Malappuram: Madhyamam conducted Edu Cafe Education and Career Festival at Tagore Centenary Hall in Calicut on 20th and 21st May 2022. The two-day event saw a participation of more than 5000 people, and featured notable speakers from the education, sports, media, and entertainment fields.

The Calicut edition of the Fair commenced with a talk from the renowned motivational speaker Dr. Maaney Paul. TP Ashraf spoke about the opportunities that were available for student to study abroad, while Asker Hassan, the Director of RB Trainings reiterated the need for bringing in new narratives on learning. He was also in conversation with students at the Topper's Talk session.

Mohammed Jabir and Nusrath O from the Xylem Learning App led the Grand Finale of the 'Buzz the Brain' quiz competition. Sadhika Surendran bagged the first prize, Ammar Rasheed came in second and Aryananda was third.

Faizal P Sayed spoke about the opportunities that are available for student to excel in foreign educational institutions, adding that foreign syllabi are better than the Indian ones.

The session led by grand master G S Pradeep on The Art of Success was the final session of the programme. He spoke about the path to success in a very unique style.

Edu Café Malappuram session is scheduled to be held on the 27th and 28th of this month at the Malappuram Rose Lounge Auditorium. The Malappuram edition will have session in which participants will be able to gain first-hand knowledge of the changing educational and career landscape. There will be panel talks on current themes along with newer edutainment programs, simulated assessments, aptitude tests, and much more during the festival.

Edu Café is recognized as the largest Indian educational career guidance fair in GCC, and has bought its resources to Kerala for the second time. Xylem Educational App is the official partner for the Education festival, and Steyp is the presenting partner.

Buzz the Brain Quiz Competition

As a part of Madhyamam Edu Café, the first round of Xylem 'Buzz the Brain' quiz competition will be held on Thursday from 6pm to 7pm. This round will be online. Registration for the same has begun and is available on myeducafe and xylem websites. The first eight winners of Thursday's mock test will be selected to the final round that will take place during the education festival in Malappuram on 27, 28 May. Students from classes 8-10 will be able to register and participate for the quiz.

The winners of the quiz competition will win exciting prizes including Apple iPad for the 1st prize winner, Samsung smartphone for the 2nd prize winner and a smart watch for 3rd prize winner.

In addition, the top three finishers will receive all of Xylem's courses for the next academic year free of charge. The other contestants who reach the final round will get Rs.2000 Xylem voucher, Amazon vouchers and Xylem t-shirts.
