Gujarat postpones class 10, 12 board exams

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government on Thursday decided to postpone class 10 and 12 board exams and promote the rest of the classes given the rising number of coronavirus cases. The state education department added that they would review the situation on May 1 and come out with an updated schedule.

The decision follows the CBSE's announcement on Wednesday to postpone 12-grade exams and cancel 10 grade. The students preparing for the exams shall be given adequate time of at least 15 days prior to the exam schedule whenever it is announced, the officials added.
