Shajan Skaria booked for publishing police wireless message

Kochi: The controversial YouTube channel editor Shajan Skaria is facing charges for allegedly leaking police wireless message, according to The Hindu.

The Palarivattom police have filed a case against Skaria for leaking and publishing a message on his YouTube channel.

The Ernakulam First Class Judicial Magistrate Court issued a directive to register the case following a complaint lodged by an advocate.

The Palarivattom police, however, reportedly refused to share the FIR number.

Skaria faces charges under provisions of various Acts including the Indian Telegraph Act, Hindu reported citing police.

It is also reported that search engine Google will also be arraigned in the case.
