Kochi: Actor Innocent, who led the Malayalam film world through laughter and thought, passed away at the age of 75. He died around 10.30 pm on Sunday while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kochi due to physical discomfort due to cancer.
A unique talent and former Lok Sabha member, Innocent entered cinema as a producer and later gained attention as a comedian and character actor. His unique body language and unique style of dialogue delivery made Innocent stand out in Malayalam cinema. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, he contested as an independent candidate of LDF, won and became an MP.
