Kozhikode: Mohammed Shuhaib, the CEO of MS Solutions, an online tuition platform, has sought anticipatory bail from the Principal District and Sessions Court in Kozhikode following his alleged involvement in a recent question paper leak scandal. Shuhaib was served with a summons notice by the Kozhikode Crime Branch on Saturday in connection with the case.

On Friday, the Crime Branch conducted raids at Shuhaib's residence and office in Koduvally, where they seized several electronic devices, including a laptop, hard drive, mobile phone, and various documents. This action followed an investigation that had been ongoing for four days, culminating in the raids. The operation involved multiple teams and continued throughout the day.

The case centers on the alleged leakage of the class 10 English and Plus One maths half-yearly exam question papers, which were reportedly found on the MS Solutions YouTube channel the day before the exams. A complaint lodged by the Director General of Education led to the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) by the Crime Branch on Friday.

The case, which includes charges such as cheating, was initially registered at the Crime Branch headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram and has since been handed over to the Kozhikode Crime Branch for further investigation. The inquiry is being led by Crime Branch Superintendent of Police Moideen Kutty.
