Thiruvananthapuram: State government has issued orders reducing the mandatory quarantine for passengers arriving from abroad to seven days.

So far the stipulated for the same category has been 14 days. However, in the matter of arrivals from other states within India, the quarantine period had already been reduced to seven days.

Such persons are required to go through Covid test on the seventh days, and if the result is negative, they need not continue in quarantine. Those who do not undergo the virus test will have to continue in quarantine for 14 days in all.
