Thiruvananthapuram: A Malayali man who tried to enter Israel illegally via Jordan was shot dead. A native of Thumba, Arattuvazhi, in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram, Gabriel Perera, was shot dead by Israeli forces. Gabriel Perera had gone to Jordan on a visiting visa.
Embassy officials have informed his relatives of the death. Meanwhile, Edison, who was with Gabriel Perera, was also shot. However, Edison returned home.
