Dubai:  It had been long since Malayalam was head again in the Dubai airport as the Keralities milled in for homecoming—however there was no usual parting hugs.

Most of them walked to the screening area with faces writ with anxiety and uncertainty.

Many heaved a sigh of relief after their passports got stamped with “ Fit to travel”

Boarding for the Abu Dhabi Kochin flight started around four in the evening—for which passengers had begun reaching around 9.30 in the morning.

Further procedures began after having passengers screened and cleared through quick testing.

It took seconds before a drop of blood getting screened, and before the passenger came out.

In case of anybody being rejected, seven passengers were arranged to take turns.

It caused worry when declaration forum issued by Air India was rejected.  Finally, another declaration forum was given.

Those came to see off were not allowed outside their vehicles and they hastily left.
