Thiruvananthapuram:  The Kerala government has asked its various departments to put all websites and Apps to security auditing.

The decision comes in the wake of infiltration by hackers to the website of the legal department.

The security auditing via scientific screening of loopholes would ensure that websites remain off-limits to hackers.

The auditing would be conducted by agencies approved by CERT-India and CERT Kerala. In the event of finding loopholes, experts would give suggestions about how to overcome the situation.

Websites would be made available to the public after solving issues by experts at IT Mission. Since the government website contain huge data, it would take time before the auditing will be over.
