Vaithiri: A human rights body is planning to move Kerala High Court over the incident in which Maoist leader CP Jaleel was killed by police gunshots at a private resort in Lakkidi in Wayanad a few days ago.
Voters Alliance, a human rights organization based in Kochi is contemplating a petition arguing that the resort employees themselves had rejected the report that police had fired shots at the Maoists out of self defence.
Human conscience has to be roused against the planning and heinous murder by police and Thurnderbolt, said Chairman of the body Advocate John Joseph and Secretary PT John in a press release.
The office-bearers saiod that the legal battle will be continued until officials responsible for the murder are brought before law.
