Binoy case: Mumbai police to take confidential statement of the complainant

Mumbai: Just as the rape-accused Binoy Kodiyeri is on the run, the Mumbai police may well record the woman’s confidential statement against Binoy Kodiyeri.  

Sources quoting the police say that they would question Binoy’s advocate Sreejith if necessary.

Also, Binoy will not be arrested until the court decides on his anticipatory bail plea, which is to be heard on Thursday.

As the police team from Mumbai failed to trace Binoy, a lookout notice will be issued.
