Mumbai: Binoy Kodiyeri approached the Bombay High Court seeking to quash the FIR filed against him at the Oshiwara police station.
Accused of rape by a Bihar native woman, Binoy Kodiyeri is to appear before the investigation officer on Monday.
His new move comes ahead of it. Bombay HC will consider the plea on July 24.
The sessions court, while granting him anticipatory bail, had pointed out the contradictions in the woman’s statements, alongside the time lapse between the incident and filing of complaint.
