Sabarimala: Hindu outfits to file review petition on Monday

New Delhi: Just as protests erupt over Sabarimala verdict, various Hindu outfits will file review petition against the verdict in the Supreme Court on Monday, reports say.

Nair Service Society (NSS), among other Hindu organisations, is at the forefront to file the review petitions.

The government of Kerala sticks to its stand of not filing review petition.

Meanwhile, the government has decided against its previous plan to deploy women police officers in Sabarimala temple during rituals this month.

Women police officers, however, will enter the temple only after considering the rush of women devotees.

Opposition Congress states that the party will be with the devotees, while putting the onus of the crisis on the government.
