New Delhi: The election to three Rajya Sabha seats from Kerala will be held on June 21, the Election Commission announced on Wednesday.
The vacancies would be created as three members -- Joy Abraham, P.J. Kurien and C.P. Narayanan -- are due to retire in July on the completion of their six year term.
The notofcation would be issued on June 4 and nominations can be made by June 11. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is June 14.
The polling will be held on June 21 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and the counting of votes would be done the same day, the EC said.
