Micro-finance scam: Vellapally Natesan named first accused

Thiruvananthapuram: Chengannur police have registered a case in micro-finance scam, naming SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellapally Natesan as the first accused.

SNDP Samrakshana Samiti had approached court alleging that leaders including Vellapally and his son Thushar Vellapally had swindled an amount of Rs. 1.5 Cr.

The first class judicial magistrate court ordered to register a case against seven people including Vellapally. The police registered the case as per the court's direction.
