Tharoor alleges death threat

Thiruvananthapuram: Dr. Shashi Tharoor, in a complaint filed with the City Police Commissioner complained that Bharatiya Yuva Morcha activists threatened him to resign and go Pakistan. MS Jyotish, Sanalkumar, Prashanth, MR Biju, Rahul Menon, George Lawrence, and Devanand - all office staff of the MP - were verbally abused. On 1.40 pm, around ten youth came on four bikes at the office functioning at Poolimood Road, and smeared black oil in the boards and door of the office.
The assailants also put a banner reading 'Pakistan Office' which covered the board of the office.
The act is undemocratic and transgression of laws, said the MP and demanded appropriate action against the assailants and give protection for proper functioning of the office.
