Government is not organising the wall: Kodiyeri

Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said on Monday that the government is only supporting the women’s wall not organising it.

Also, he said that the outfits behind the wall can organize the programme alone without any government funding.

No one would be coerced to participate in the women’s wall, he said.

As for the NSS stand, CPM state secretary expected that the outfit would correct its stand, as it failed to maintain its equidistant policy, contrary to the stand of Mannath Padmanabhan.

Kodiyeri expressed willingness to hold discussions with NSS.
