Custodial death of Sreejith: Family seeks CBI investigation

Ernakulam: Family of Sreejith, who died following severe torture at police custody, will file an application on Tuesday at Kerala High Court seeking a CBI investigation.

Akhila, wife of Sreejith, told media that the family is not satisfied with the ongoing investigation. Policemen, who were present at Varappuzha police station while Sreejith was being taken into custody, SP, and others are not named in the charge-sheet prepared by the team investigating the death, she pointed.
