Telangana likely to get five acres of land at Sabarimala

Thiruvananthapuram: The Telangana government's request to allot land at Sabarimala in Kerala for construction of a building for the benefit of devotees from the state has been considered positively, according to a Kerala official.

The Telangana government had requested for allotment of five acres of land for the building for devotees of the State visiting the hill shrine.

Kerala Devaswom official Jyotilal met state Endowments Minister Indrakaran Reddy in Hyderabad over the request.

A Telangana government release also quoted the Kerala official as saying that the Telangana governments request for allotment of land at Sabarimala, the abode of Lord Ayyappa, would be considered positively.
