Thiruvananthapuram: BJP has released the CCTV footages of alleged CPI-M activists attacking its state office in the city.

The BJP released the footages through its Facebook page. The incident was caught on security cameras installed at the office building.

Party said BJP state president Kummanom Rajasekharan was in the building during the incident that took place early Friday.

Vehicles parked in the office complex were damaged in the attack as some men pelted stones. Six cars including that of the state president were damaged.

Local BJP workers have alleged that activists of CPI(M) were behind the attack.

A case has been registered and investigation is underway, police said.

The incident is a continuation of the CPI(M)-BJP clash that broke out in the city early Friday. As per reports, the clash began over formation of SFI unit in M G College in the city.
