Kavya Madhavan, mother to be questioned in actress assault case

Kochi: A special investigation team, probing the actress assault case, will soon question actor Dileep’s wife Kavya Madhavan and her mother in connection with the case.

A member of the probing team told Madhyamam that the questioning would be to verify some aspects of the case in view of some of the information revealed by Dileep and Pulsar Suni during their second round of questioning.

The police team is of an opinion that if those aspects are verified, that can be produced as key evidences in the case.

Kavya and her mother Shyamala have already been asked to appear before the police team for questioning. The two, who are at present in Kochi, are under the observation of the police.

Although the police have not got any evidence to prove the involvement of the actress and her mother in the case, they believe that interrogating the two is necessary to verify certain aspects of the information revealed by Dileep and Suni, the key accused in the case.

Kavya's home and place of business were raided by the police after Suni reportedly told the police that he deposited a memory card with photos of the kidnapped actress at the office of Kavya's online boutique Laksyah in Kakkanad.
