Fahadh Faasil's car registration case: Dealers may also be booked

Kochi: In the criminal case revolving around registration of luxury cars in Puducherry on forged addresses apparently for tax gains, the dealers who sold the car and arranged the registration for actor Fahadh Faasil are also learnt to be in for trouble.

The move is said to be based on Fahadh's response to the interrogation by Crime Branch of Kerala Police.

The star actor has purchased two cars, one each from Bengaluru and Delhi and Fahadh is reported to have informed that for delivering after registering them, the dealers offered a package which he accepted. He pleaded ignorance about the tax matters. He said he had not gone to take delivery of the cars himself. Nor was he aware of the tax evasion the deal involved.

The police are likely to soon travel to interrogate the dealers who sold the cars to Fahadh. In parallel, the Crime Branch is said to have come to know of a legal 'rescue' package for Fahadh of procuring an apartment for him in Puduchery as a means of evading the charge of buying cars on forged address in Puducherry.
