Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has ordered a probe into a food poisoning case, wherein at least 400 jawans were hospitalised after eating a meal served at the CRPF camp in Pallippuram, near here Saturday.
News agency ANI reported on Sunday that the samples of the fish curry, the jawans had, have been sent for investigation.
The jawans experienced extreme nausea and diarrhoea after their meal. They were admitted to various hospitals in the city following the incident.
Health Minister KK Shylaja visited them at the facility on Saturday night.
