Vigilance finds irregularity worth Rs. 80 lakh in SNDP’s microfinance scheme

Thiruvananthapuram: In a big blow to SNDP general secretary Vellapally Natesan, the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau has found irregularities to the tune of Rs 80.30 lakh in the SNDP’s microfinance scheme.

The Vigilance legal advisor briefed before the court, while considering a plea filed by Opposition leader V.S Achuthanandan, that the Vigilance, in a confidential probe, has found irregularity worth Rs. 80.30 lakh in the SNDP’s microfinance scheme.

Judge John K Illikkadan has ordered the Vigilance to submit its report in connection with the microfinance scheme.

The case will be considered again on next Monday.
