Washington: The Trump administration avenging the murder attempt of former Russian spy and his daughter living in England would impose sanctions on Russia.

Restrictions could mean Russia would be “denied the export of any national security-sensitive good or technology” reports ABC News.

The sanctions could affect goods worth hundreds of millions of dollars that might include gas turbine engines, electronic devices and equipment, circuit and calibration equipment.

In order to avoid the more punishing round of sanctions to be imposed in 90 days, Russia should comply with the criteria outlined in the Chemical and Biological Weapons Control and Warfare Elimination Act of 1991.

That means Russia should have to prove that it would not use chemical or biological weapons in the future, while allowing impartial observers to verify the same.
