Will withdraw political demonstration cases: Kejriwal tells Gujarat

Bhavnagar: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal promised Gujarat people that he would withdraw cases against various movement leaders within fifteen days of the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in the state, IANS reported.
Addressing a public gathering at poll-bound Gujarat's Bhavnagar, he also promised the government employees union that his government would restore services of those employees who were "punished in form of transfer, or suspension".
Kejriwal, the AAP national convenor, said, "Now people are looking for a new engine to run the government, they are no more interested in double engine government, as it is claimed by the BJP."
He asked people to give AAP a single chance and assured them that the Gujarat people would be satisfied with the AAP's governance in the state and he would not need to visit the state again to seek a vote.
He further said, citing an intelligence report, "AAP is forming government in the state after the election, but with a very thin margin, that is, 92 or 93 seats".
"If the party comes to power with just 92-93 seats, these people will lure AAP MLAs and stop AAP from forming the government, these are very cunning people," he said, adding that he wants a "thumping" majority and a "strong" government.
Meanwhile, after CBI summoned Manish Sisodia, Deputy CM of Delhi, Kejriwal compared him to Bhagat Singh and said that his government would fight the BJP-led Union government the "second freedom struggle". Sisodia was summoned in the liquor policy case, while AAP minister Satyendar Jain is already in jail regarding the case.
"Jail bars and hanging noose could not deter Bhagat Singh's resolute intentions. This is the second fight for freedom. Manish and Satyendar are today's, Bhagat Singh. After 75 years, the country got an education minister who gave good education to the poor and gave hope for a bright future. Prayers of crores of poor are with you," Mr Kejriwal said in a tweet in Hindi, PTI reported.
