Vir Das is an inspiration, says Priyanka Chopra after watching him in LA

Actress Priyanka Chopra recently took to Instagram to show her admiration for comedian Vir Das. The shout-out came right after watching his performance at Netflix's comedy festival – Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival in Los Angeles.
She wrote that Vir Das is brave and inspiring. Priyanka attended the show with some friends and wrote: "What a day! With awesome friends, watching an awesome friend do what he does best". She added that the comedian had her in tears laughing.
Vir Das responded to Priyanka's post by thanking her in the comment section. He also acknowledged the actress' crossover to Hollywood and wrote: "Thank you for opening all the doors for the rest of us".
He added that Priyanka is always awesome and cool and funny. "I admire you so much".
Priyanka had shared a small video of Vir Das welcoming the crowd on her social media page. Das also shared pictures of the event and wrote it is the biggest comedy festival in the world. He added that it is a privilege to have this crowd and an ovation in this room.
Das noted that he is a fan of every comedian performing along with him on Netflix is a Joke. The comedian has been garnering attention on the international front for quite some time now. Last year, he received an Emmy nomination for his Netflix show 'Vir Das: For India'.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas is also making headway in her Hollywood career as the actress is all set for the release of 'It's All Coming Back to Me' and the Amazon Prime series 'Citadel'. She will also be seen in Farhan Akhtar's 'Jee Le Zaraa' along with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
