New Delhi: With evident excitement over BJP's dominating victory in elections across the Hindi land, Prime Minister Narendra Modi fired a warning at Congress, saying that the party needed to mend their way or the public would oust it, PTI reports.

The PM expressed strong confidence that the "hat-trick" victory in the three states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh is a guarantee of a 'hat-trick' win at the Lok Sabha polls.

"The results show popular support for our battle against corruption," he told a crowd of cheering supporters at the BJP headquarters here.

He mocked the Congress and the INDIA bloc, saying that merely collecting some dynasts on dais may make for a good photograph but cannot win people's confidence.

He said that no one should come in between the Centre's "development" and people, or the masses will remove them. The opposition parties must not support those working against the country's interests when "development" is taking place here fast.

He said that the current victories will increase confidence in global investors and the world's belief in India. The world is watching that people are voting for a stable government, PM Modi claimed.

He claimed that now people believe in BJP's developments, they can distinguish between selfish politics and "politics of national interest".

"I want to tell you with full honesty that your dream is my resolve," he said, noting how the country's infrastructure is undergoing a transformation while its economy remains the fastest growing in the world.
