US envoy declines to endorse Rahul Gandhi's remarks on China-Pak ties

New Delhi: The statements the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made in the Parliament, relating to the foreign policy India has adopted, are not the views the US can endorse, said the US State Department spokesperson Ned Price to media questions.
Gandhi alleged that it was due to the flawed foreign policy by the BJP government that India has been isolated by the close relationship between China and Pakistan.
"Ask yourself why you are not able to get a guest on Republic Day. We are completely isolated and surrounded... You have brought Pakistan and China together and this is the single biggest crime you could have committed against the people of India," Gandhi said.
Price said that it was Pakistan and China to speak about their relationship, while declining to endorse Rahul Gandhi's remarks. The countries are not needed to choose between the US and China, he added.
Price also said that the US does not wish countries around the world to make a choice between America and China, but it would imply that American partnership will have a series of advantages for countries.
Rahul Gandhi threw a volley of allegations against the Union government, taking part in a debate on the motion of thanks on the President's address in Lok Sabha. He blamed for

The BJP attacked Rahul Gandhi over the speech, accusing him of making a "directionless, confused speech" without any understanding of India's history.
