UP woman finds ‘missing’ husband in Instagram reel with another woman 8 years later

Lucknow: A woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi has a shock of her life seeing her missing husband on an Instagram reel with another woman, The Indian Express reported.
The 32-year-old man, Jitendra Kumar alias Babloo disappeared suddenly, deserting his wife in April 2018.
As his family could not find out him despite an extensive search, his father filed a missing person’s complaint at the Sandila police station.
Jitendra married the woman in Hardoi in 2017 and the couple had a son the following year.
Nearly eight years later the wife shockingly came across Jitendra in a video with another woman.
She set about reaching out to people close to Jitendra and his family to confirm it was him.
She came to know that Jitendra was in Ludhiana where he had allegedly married another woman.
Acting on this input, the police traced Jitendra and took him into custody. He was living in Ludhiana with another woman.
Based on his wife’s complaint, a case has been registered against Jitendra under Section 82(1) (bigamy) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Sandila police station.
‘During the inquiry, it was found that Jitendra had married another woman in Ludhiana. He has been taken into custody,’ Santosh Kumar Singh, Circle Officer, Hardoi was quoted as saying.
