UP teacher beats student who caught him watching porn in the classroom

Lucknow: A school teacher in Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi beat up an eight-year-old boy who caught him watching obscene movie on his mobile phone in the classroom, police said.
The boy along with other students laughed at the teacher after seeing him watching the video: the teacher, Kuldeep Yadav, allegedly grabbed him by his hair and slammed his head against the wall, NDTV reported citing police.
The boy’s father, Jai Prakash, reportedly said: ‘The teacher grabbed my son by the hair and slammed his head against the wall, causing injuries to the child’s ear. The teacher also used abusive language and allegedly beat the child with a cane. I have filed a complaint about the incident at the police station.’
The police said that the teacher was taken into custody and a probe was initiated.
Superintendent Of Police (Rural) Gopinath Soni said a teacher was detained based on the complaint by the student’s father for assaulting an 8-year-old child.
