Hyderabad: Two Dalit men in Telangana’s Mancherial district were hung upside down and beaten for allegedly stealing goats.

The farm owner, suspecting theft, set up smoke beneath the men as they were being beaten alongside, according to NDTV.

A footage going viral showed the two men dangling over the smoke, crying, as they were tortured by farmer owner and his associates.

Despite crying for help, the farm owner and his men continued to torture them.

They were reportedly demanding that the two Dalit men pay for the missing goats.

The incident was reported from the Mandamarri town of Macherial district.

Despite release from captivity, one of the men did not go home which made his family approach police.

Police have registered a case under the SC/ST act.
