Telangana: Teens who make short videos for social media often throw caution to winds.
As a result there is no end to accidents that often leave many youngsters dead or maimed for life.
In a similar incident a teenager in Telangana's Hanumakonda district was critically injured after being hit by a train.
The 17-year-old Ch Akshay Raj was making a video to be uploaded on Instagram reel nearby a railway track in Kazipet here.
The intermediate first year student from Waddepallyn was walking near a railway track when a train rushed in and hit him before he could move away.
The shocking video recorded by another person on his phone showed Raj falling near the track as the speeding train hit him.
Akshay was immediately shifted to the nearest government hospital for treatment.
Railway police always caution people against walking near railway tracks.
