Hyderabad: Telangana’s rival parties—Congress, BJP, and BRS—turned Valentine’s Day into a biting political roast, airing each other’s alleged “secret affairs” via social media. While couples exchanged flowers, the parties’ handles unleashed satirical posts exposing love-hate ties.

Congress accused BRS of loving Modi more than Telangana, “BRS loves Modi more than TG (Telangana)”. BRS hit back, claiming a “Fevicol bond” between Congress and BJP: “Even if the Congress fails to implement the six guarantees, the BJP won’t question it. Even if the central government doesn’t allocate funds to Telangana, the Congress won’t hold the BJP accountable. Isn’t this the real ‘fevicol’ bond?”

BJP escalated, roping in AIMIM for a love triangle: “Secretly with one person.. openly with another person.. To these three who are carrying on a love affair with each other without any hassle… Valentine’s Day wishes!”
