In a further development to the Narcotics Control Bureau's (NCB) cruise ship drug seizure case, a Mumbai court has remanded Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aaryan Khan and two others to NCB custody till October 4.

Earlier on Sunday, NCB had arrested the star kid after raiding a cruise ship and busting a drugs party on Saturday evening.

Including Aryan, the NCB detained eight people who were identified as Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra and Arbaaz Merchant.

According to reports, the detainees were presented before the holiday court on Sunday. Quoting sources, TOI reports that the NCB officials will scan Aryan Khan's mobile phone to check for traces of his direct involvement in the possession or consumption of drugs.

"During the operation, the suspects were searched and different drugs were recovered from them, which they had hidden in their clothes, undergarments and purses (by women)," news agency PTI quoted an NCB official as saying.

Earlier on Sunday, the NCB questioned the detainees at its office.

Quoting an NCB official, the PTI report added that different drugs like MDMA, ecstasy, cocaine, MD (mephedrone) and charas were recovered from them during the raid conducted on Saturday evening. According to the report, the anti-drug agency has registered an FIR in connection with the drugs party.

NCB team, led by its zonal director Sameer Wankhede raided the Goa-bound Cordelia cruise ship based on a tip-off that a party was scheduled on the ship on Saturday evening. The participation for the party was reportedly done via social media with the ticket rates upwards of Rs 75,000 per person, said a report by IANS

To avoid detection, the NCB sleuths booked themselves on that cruise as ordinary passengers and they soon found some of their co-passengers consuming drugs.

Then the NCB launched its full-scale raid, detained eight passengers, including two women, consuming drugs, and seized different types of narcotics in varying quantities. Simultaneously, the cruise ship was ordered to turn and sail back to the ICT at Ballard Pier where the detained passengers were offloaded along with their baggage.

NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, who led the raid on the ship along with a team of officials, declined to comment on the developments as the investigations are underway.
