Speaker AN Shamseer has defended ADGP Ajith Kumar's meeting with RSS leaders.
He said that there is nothing wrong in meeting the leaders personally and RSS is a prominent organization in the country. ADGP himself has said that he was taken by a friend.
Shamseer's statement comes in the context of ADGP's meeting with RSS leaders creating a huge controversy in the state's political environment.
MLA PV Anvar's allegation of hacking the phones of ministers and MLAs does not seem to have any basis, Shamseer told the media. This is the first time that a prominent leader from the ruling party has defended the ADGP.
"The state government has no control over the phone tapping system. It is not possible to respond with speculations. The allegation about phone tapping is just an allegation. I don't believe that," said Shamseer.
