Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the central figure at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, where he is scheduled to meet 35 to 40 of the world’s most influential technology executives on February 19.

The government is aiming to secure investment commitments of around $100 billion during the summit.

Officials believe the target is achievable given the scale of participation and the momentum built from earlier commitments by global technology firms.

The summit will host about 100 leading global tech companies among more than 800 participating firms, making it one of the largest technology-focused gatherings organised by India. Senior government officials said they expect fresh investment pledges to surpass previous commitments made by companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, and Google, which together had announced investments of around $67.5 billion in artificial intelligence and data centre infrastructure in India.

The list of expected attendees includes Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Sam Altman, and Dario Amodei, along with Indian business leaders Sunil Bharti Mittal and N. Chandrasekaran. Executives from platforms such as Netflix, Zoom, and Amazon are also expected to participate.

Jensen Huang will not attend the summit due to unforeseen circumstances, though Nvidia is expected to send a senior representative.

Discussions between Modi and the executives are expected to focus on concrete investment roadmaps and the potential for large-scale job creation through expanded use of artificial intelligence across sectors in India.
