Hussaini reportedly made several international calls over the few weeks with police suspecting he was in contact with foreign networks interested in the suspected nuclear data.
It is revealed that Hussaini had the history of frequently changing his identity.
When he claimed to be ‘scientist possessing classified documents’ he was deported from Dubai in 2004.
Nevertheless he was deported, Hussaini used fake passports to travel to Dubai, Tehran, and other places.
A resident of Jamshedpur, Akhtar Hussaini’s brother, Adil introduced him to Munazzil Khan, a Jharkhand resident.
It is reported that Khan forged two passports in the names of Hussaini Mohammad Adil and Nasimuddin Syed Adil Hussaini.
However the address mentioned in the passport was his family’s ancestral house sold nearly 30 years ago.
Police believe that the Hussaini brothers travelled abroad using forged documents.
When arrested recently, Akhtar Hussaini tried to mislead the police claiming that his brother was long dead.
The Meerut police were looking for him for allegedly inciting and spreading discontent against UP government.
