Noida: A horrifying footage emerged on Friday showed a woman nearly escaping the attack of stray dogs in Noida.

The woman was seen walking toward the Centurion Park Low Rise apartments located in Ecotech III when one of the dogs began lunging towards her.

She stood there awhile before trying to intimidate it by waving her hand.

As the dog went on barking and advancing towards her, she began to walk away.

More dogs began gathering around her expressly to attack her when she turned to run away.

Apparently terrified, the woman screamed for help as the dogs began chasing her.

It was then security guard and two men chased away the dogs and she had narrow escape.

However, a more unfortunate person, identified as a domestic help in one of the Noida apartment, was bitten by a dog two days earlier.

The 34-year-old woman was attacked by a German shepherd as she was waiting on the 18th floor of the Galaxy Royal apartments in Gaur City 2 area, according to NDTV.

Stray dog attacks are widely reported with one study claiming that six people are attacked every minute in the country.

Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Parshottam Rupala told the Parliament in December that 24.7 lakh dog bite were reported between January and October 2023 in the country.
