The Kottayam District Sessions Court said that P C George will not be arrested till January 18th in the hate speech case.
The court will consider the anticipatory bail application again on Saturday. The court has also asked for the video of the controversial channel discussion and a written transcript of the content.
The prosecution has requested that P C George not be granted bail as he has been involved in a similar case before.
The accused has been a public representative for a long time. The defense's position was that it is not a serious matter to file a case under the non-bailable section.
The complainants, Youth League leaders, alleged that the police are colluding for P C George.
