Panaji: A heartwarming video showed a foreigner hugging a Rapido driver for helping her back to the hotel in Goa.
The foreigner was helplessly wandering after she lost way at around 10 pm when the Rapido rider, Sindhu Kumari, pulled over to check on her.
The foreign tourist looked a bit worried after Google Maps did not show her the exact way.
As dropping her safely to her hotel ‘Coconut Grow’, Kumari recorded a video which went viral. It is not known when this incident occurred.
The clip showed the foreigner offering Kumari money which she refused.
Overcome with emotions as she reached the hotel, the tourist hugged and kept thanking the Rapido rider.
Later, Kumari said that the tourist lost her way from Batalbatim beach and ended up in Colva beach after wandering for some time.
Many online praised the Rapido rider for helping the tourist with one user saying ‘Salute to Sindhu Kumari! Her presence of mind, kindness, and courage turned a potential crisis into a story of hope’.
Another user of X said: ‘This is real India. Quiet courage, basic kindness, and stepping up when it mattered. Salute to Sindhu Kumari’.
