Days after offering namaz in certain open spaces in Gurugram kicked up a controversy, a group of men claiming to be right-wing activists allegedly barged into the premises of a church in Pataudi and disrupted the prayers on the eve of Christmas. A video of the same has gone viral online.

The video shows a few men entering church premises on Thursday evening while sloganeering 'Jai Shree Ram' and 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'. They allegedly pushed the choir members down from the stage and snatched the mike.

"It was scary as we had women and children around in the church. The nuisance is increasing with each passing day. It's an infringement of our right to pray and religion," a local pastor said.

Pataudi station house officer Amit Kumar, however, claim that the police have not received any such complaint thus far. The local administration is yet to respond.
