New Delhi: In a video widely shared on social media, the 17-year-old man who was arrested for shooting at a group of people who were protesting against the CAA near Jamia Millia Islamia last year can be heard making incendiary speeches targeting Muslims.

The venue where he made his inflammatory speech was said to have been a Mahapanchayat in Pataudi, convened to discuss the religious conversion in the name of the controversial term 'love jihad', according to The Indian Express report.

The teenage boy is heard encouraging the people who convened for the Mahapanchayat to abduct Muslim women in retaliation to the Hindu women's conversion to Islam.

Pointing to his opening of fire at the anti-CAA protestors near Jamia last year, he said "would like to give a warning to the people with the terrorist mindset from Pataudi that if I could go 100 kilometres away to Jamia in support of CAA, Pataudi is not very far."

The Indian Express reports, quoting Varun Singla, DCP of Manesar that the police has not registered FIR for there has been no complaint received against the speeches at the Mahapanchayat.

Earlier, the BJP spokesperson and Karni Sena President Suraj Pal Amu had also reportedly made provocative speeches at the Mahapanchayat. He was reported to have said that in order not to repeat history it was imperative to ensure no Timur, Aurangzeb, Babur and Humayun are born again in the country.

He also said Pakistanis shall be removed from the country and they should not be given houses on rent.

During the peak of the anti-CAA protests on January 30, 2020, the teenager had managed to cross the police barricades to brandish a gun at the protestors and open fire at them. He was heard "Here, take freedom, If you want to stay in the country, you have to say Vande Mataram", shouting while shooting at the protesting students.
