Muzaffarpur: A gang assaulted a young man in Bihar's Muzaffarpur alongside forcing him to lick their spit while a crowd looked on indifferently.
The footage of the incident that the assailants uploaded online revealed the awful act sparking outrage, India Today reported.
Following which the victim Nabi Hasan’s mother filed a complaint against the attack that had taken place on December 16 near MSKB College in Muzaffarpur.
Police have registered an FIR against three identified individuals, while gathering details of others involved in it.
Nabi Hasan was beaten up with belts and sticks before being forced to lick spit and do sit-ups holding his ears.
The large crowd that gathered to watch the attack did not step in to intervene.
The gang including Saif, Imran, and Mahfooz allegedly took Nabi Hasan, who had gone out for work on December 16, to a ground where the assaulted him, according to the complaint. They threatened to kill him within 15 days.
Senior police officer Sharat Kumar stated that the accused are yet to be arrested.
