Major fire in Hyderabad, 11 charred to death

Hyderabad: People in Hyderabad on Wednesday woke up to the shocking death of 11 people in fire at a scrap godown in the city, police said.

The deceased, all migrant workers from Bihar were charred to death; their bodies were found on the first floor of the building at Bhoiguda in the city, according to PTI.

A police official was reported as saying that all the bodies were charred beyond recognition.

The cause of the fire was yet to be found out.

At around 5 AM the fire department was alerted about the blaze and it took four hours before the fire was put out.
