Politicians of different parties expressed their solidarity to Media One channel and codenamed the banning of channel violating all the legal codes and procedures.

Trinamool Congress Mp Mahua Moitra tweeted, and tweet reads

Uplinking licence of @MediaOneTVLivecancelled w/o due process /MHA fig leaf of "secuirity concerns" .MIB's real reason?

Channel telecast ground reality during Delhi riots.

Speak up. Else we all die.

NCP leader and Mp Supriya Sule, in her tweet, requested the Minister of information and Broadcasting to look into the matter and hear the concerns of the channel

BSP leader and Mp Kunwar Dhanish Ali started that refusal to renew the channel's license is freedom of expression and press freedom. Further, he added that government must revoke the ban.

Earlier this week Information and Broadcasting ministry banned Media One from telecasting, citing security reasons. After a few hours, Kerala High Court issued an interim stay order, and further court extended the stay order till the coming Monday. Politicians, journalists, and activists widely expressed solidarity to the channel. Media One was earlier banned by the ministry for reporting Delhi Riots in 2020.
